The Power Supply is designed to feeding voltage and adjust the current in the process production of carbon black. These options allow you to adjust the gap between the electrodes, which in turn allows you to achieve the best quality of carbon black powder.

In different technological modes of soot production, for different design versions of FSM machines, specific models of power supply with optimal technical characteristics and indicators for the volt-ampere characteristic are selected.
The power supply is basing on an inverter-type welding machine with standard technical characteristics of current strength from 600 to 800 amperes. Also in the complete set of FSM machines, the possibility of optional accessory auxiliary with a transformer - type source is provided.

Power Plugs for connecting power wires on the power supply unit are made in two versions:
- standard welding connectors - SK-50
- connection terminals with adapted for power wires through power connectors and copper graphite brushes

POWER SUPPLY
The power supply is connected to the reactor chamber via single-core power cables (wires) with a length of at least 2 meters each-with a cross-section of at least 120 sq. m., to current collectors isolated from the chamber by textolite rings.
During the operation of the plant in the carbon black production cycle, a periodic change of polarity is required for the forced removal of the cathode deposit from the cathode electrode.
The power supply is controlled directly from the front panel of the power supply itself.
Optionally, the power supplies of the machines FSM can be equipped with separate control panels for remote control of the equipment operation.
