At the stage of preparing the FSM for launch, if only one pre-vacuum pump is working, the vacuum measuring deviceNo. 1 should show the correct value of -0.1 MPa.
Any other, large values are an indicator of incorrect assembly and operation of the FSM. In this case, it is necessary to check the connecting flanges of the ISO, KF and CF types, as well as the tightness of the fiberglass insulators to the reactor chamber housing and current collectors.

MECHANICAL VACUUM MEASURING DEVICE
During the production of carbon black, the readings of the vacuum measuring device No. 1 should not change by more than 0.005 MPa/hour in the positive or negative sides from the values of the set pressure. A smooth change of the value by more than 0.005 MPa from the set pressure is allowed only in one case, the moment of arc ignition between the electrodes in the reactor chamber.
A sharp change in the value from the set value by 0.005 MPa or more, at the time of ignition of the arc between the electrodes in the reactor chamber, requires an assessment of the quality of the arc; with a constant repetition of sharp pressure surges, it is necessary to stop the FSM and audit the surface of the reactor chamber.

Vacuum measuring device No. 2 at all stages of operation FSM, under the condition of operation of the NVR-5DM pump, must show a correct and stable value of -0.1 MPa, in the case of readings of large values or wave (floating) readings by more than 0.005 MPa, replace the electrode (anode) or audit the electrode insertion chamber (anode).
