The gas ramp is a pressure control and adjustment unit in the main working system of the FS machine, as well as the electrode insertion chamber.
The gas ramp is equipped with a group of vacuum measuring device:
- mechanical No. 1 - fixing the pressure in the main working system of the reactor
- mechanical No. 2 - fixing the pressure in the electrode insertion chamber
- digital - recording readings at the time of starting the FSM machine

Also, there is a digital vacuum gauge sensor on the gas ramp, which is installed through a ball vacuum valve connected through KF-25 flanges.

The gas ramp, in its standard version, has several ball vacuum valves with KF-25 or KF-16 flanges, each of which has its own individual application:
- gate valve No. 1 - supply of helium to the main working system of the FSM machine
- gate valve No. 2 - oxygen supply to the main working system of the FSM machine
- gate valve No. 3 - oxygen supply to the electrode insertion chamber

The gas ramp can be equipped with additional structural elements responsible for individual or additional components and assemblies of the FSM machine, which are optionally equipped with the equipment.

If the complex of the FSM machine is equipped with a vacuum station, the gas ramp assembly is separated and partially mounted on a remote control unit of the vacuum station and receiver for local control of the vacuum parameters in the node.
