The main purpose of the fine filter of the FSM machine is the high-quality purification of the inert carrier gas from carbon black particles – fullerene – containing soot.
During the production of carbon black, the inert gas is the main carrier of the produced product, passing through a number of cyclones and lines of the FSM reactor, it retains soot particles in its flow, which can damage the blower, which will eventually lead to a complete shutdown of the FSM machine.
The equipment FSM, in the standard version, has two filters for cleaning gas from soot:
- coarse filter - installed in tank-container No. 2
- fine filter - installed in the filter block
The fine filter unit is directly connected to the blower, which allows you to prevent the ingress of carbon black into the working chamber of the pump, and to clean the inert gas that is pumped into the carbon black synthesis chamber.
The fine filter unit is equipped with a revision cover, which allows you to perform a planned cleaning of the filter element from fullerene-containing soot, as well as to replace it if necessary.
The filter element is mounted on the filter frame and has a viton vacuum seal for sealing the mounting flange.
At the inlet and outlet of the channels of the fine filter unit, flanged connections of the KF-40 types are installed for faster assembly and high-quality sealing of the main system of the FSM machine.
